The 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign (Promo)

Created for Get Schooled - 2018

The 21 Savage Bank Account campaign was created through a collaboration between Get Schooled and rapper 21 Savage's Leading By Example foundation. The campaign launched in 2018 and expanded significantly through 2019. The goal was to promote financial literacy among high school students. Attendance Challenge Recap

The Get Schooled Attendance Challenge is a school-wide competition amongst middle and high schools across the country will help increase school attendance rates and inspire students to set goals for the future.

MY ROLE: to script, shoot, edit and produce a recap video of the 2018-2019 winning school, Raymond Cree middle school.

Detroit College Day + Get Schooled

Created for Get Schooled - 2019

Get Schooled and the Detroit College Access Network have established a partnership with the goal of assisting Detroit high school students with apply to, preparing for and finding money for college.

MY ROLE: to script, edit and produce a recap video overview of the program.

National Youth Hiring Day Social Ad

Created for Job Launch - 2018

Job Launch is a resource driven by Get Schooled to assist young people in their professional development and job search. This included launching the first ever virtual National Youth Hiring Day.

MY ROLE: to script, storyboard, edit, and package a 15 second ad; then create multiple versions to fit across a variety of social platforms. This version was made with dimensions for Instagram.

Job Launch is a resource driven by Get Schooled to assist young people in their professional development and job search. This included launching the first ever virtual National Youth Hiring Day.

We Are The Dream Campaign Overview

Created for Get Schooled - 2018

MTV and Get Schooled partnered to create the We Are The Dream campaign to reinforce undocumented young people’s place in our community and connect them with critical information and resources to help them navigate their path. This included helping find resources and college readiness tools for undocumented students and their families, as well as tips and resources for those who want to support undocumented students!

MY ROLE: to script, storyboard, edit, package and provide the voice over for the video.

CSUDH Charge On Toros!

Sequoyah High School: We Are The Future

Created for Get Schooled - 2017

This project was created to highlight Sequoyah High School's Maddie Lamb, a senior who won the Get Schooled 2016 Homecoming Court Contest. As a part of her prize, Get Schooled sponsored a DJ dance part for the entire school and a mural dedicated to the senior class.

MY ROLE: to shoot and provide first cut edits of all footage and to interview all persons shown on screen (including writing the interview questions).

This project was created as the North Carolina Central University version of "Happy", the popular song by Pharrell. 

MY ROLE: to story board, recruit students for, and assist with the shooting and editing of the video.

Zeta Charm School 101

Created for the Gamma Gamma chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - 2014

This project was created as the introductory video to the 2014 Gamma Gamma chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc's Homecoming step show. 

MY ROLE: to shoot, edit, and direct the video.
